Dua
دعاء - ليلة 22 - رمضان
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ
bism il-laahir-rah'man ir-rah'eem
In the Name of God, the All-Merciful, the Most Compassionate.
اَللّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلى مُحَمَّد وَآلِ مُحَمَّد
allahumma salli'ala muhammadin wa aali muhammad
O Allah, bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad.
يَا سَالِخَ ٱلنَّهَارِ مِنَ ٱللَّيْلِ فَإِذَا نَحْنُ مُظْلِمُونَ
ya salikha alnnahari min allayli fa'idha nahnu mu¨limuna
O He Who draws forth daylight from night, and we are then in the dark,
وَمُجْرِيَ ٱلشَّمْسِ لِمُسْتَقَرِّهَا بِتَقْدِيرِكَ يَا عَزِيزُ يَا عَلِيمُ
wa mujriya alshshamsi limustaqarriha bitaqdirika ya `azizu ya `alimu
Who causes the sun to run on to a term appointed for it; that is the ordinance of You, O Mighty, O Knowing,
وَمُقَدِّرَ ٱلْقَمَرِ مَنَازِلَ حَتَّىٰ عَادَ كَٱلْعُرْجُونِ ٱلْقَدِيمِ
wa muqaddira alqamari manazila hatta `ada kal`urjuni alqadimi
and Who ordained for the moon stages until it becomes again as an old dry palm branch!
يَا نُورَ كُلِّ نُورٍ
ya nura kulli nurin
O Light of every light!
وَمُنْتَهَىٰ كُلِّ رَغْبَةٍ
wa muntaha kulli raghbatin
O ultimate goal of all desires!
وَوَلِيَّ كُلِّ نِعْمَةٍ
wa waliyya kulli ni`matin
O Source of all graces!
يَا اللَّهُ يَا رَحْمٰنُ
ya allahu ya rahmanu
O Allah! O All-beneficent!
يَا اللَّهُ يَا قُدُّوسُ
ya allahu ya quddusu
O Allah! O Holy!
يَا احَدُ يَا وَاحِدُ يَا فَرْدُ
ya ahadu ya wahidu ya fardu
O One and Only! O One! O Single!
يَا اللَّهُ يَا اللَّهُ يَا اللَّهُ
ya allahu ya allahu ya allahu
O Allah! O Allah! O Allah!
لَكَ ٱلاسْمَاءُ ٱلْحُسْنَىٰ
laka al-asma'u alhusna
To You are the Most Excellent Names,
وَٱلامْثَالُ ٱلْعُلْيَا
wal-amthalu al`ulya
the most elevated examples,
وَٱلْكِبْرِيَاءُ وَٱلآلاَءُ
walkibriya’u wal-ala'u
greatness, and bounties.
اسْالُكَ انْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
as'aluka an tusalliya `ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin
I beseech You to bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad,
وَانْ تَجْعَلَ ٱسْمِي فِي هٰذِهِ ٱللَّيْلَةِ فِي ٱلسُّعَدَاءِ
wa an taj`ala ismi fi hadhihi allaylati fi alssu`ada'i
include my name with the list of the happiest ones,
وَرُوحِي مَعَ ٱلشُّهَدَاءِ
wa ruhi ma`a alshshuhada'i
add my soul to the martyrs,
وَإِحْسَانِي فِي عِلِّيِّينَ
wa ihsani fi `illiyyina
record my good deeds in the most exalted rank,
وَإِسَاءَتِي مَغْفُورَةً
wa isa'ati maghfuratan
decide my offense to be forgiven,
وَانْ تَهَبَ لِي يَقِيناً تُبَاشِرُ بِهِ قَلْبِي
wa an tahaba li yaqinan tubashiru bihi qalbi
grant me certitude that fills in my heart
وَإِيـمَاناً يُذْهِبُ ٱلشَّكَّ عَنِّي
wa imanan yudhhibu alshshakka `anni
and faith that removes doubt from me,
وَتُرْضِيَنِي بِمَا قَسَمْتَ لِي
wa turdiyani bima qasamta li
make me feel satisfied with that which You decide for me,
وَآتِنَا فِي ٱلدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً
wa atina fi alddunya hasanatan
grant us reward in this world
وَفِي ٱلآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً
wa fi al-akhirati hasanatan
and reward in the Hereafter,
وَقِنَا عَذَابَ ٱلنَّارِ ٱلْحَرِيقِ
wa qina `adhaba alnnari alhariqi
save us from the torment of the burning Fire,
وَٱرْزُقْنِي فِيهَا ذِكْرَكَ وَشُكْرَكَ وَٱلرَّغْبَةَ إِلَيْكَ
warzuqni fiha dhikraka wa shukraka walrraghbata ilayka
and confer upon us at this night Your mentioning, thanking You, desiring for You,
وَالإِنَابَةَ وَالتَّوْفِيقَ لِمَا وَفَّقْتَ لَهُ مُحَمَّداً وَآلَ مُحَمَّدٍ عَلَيْهِ وَعَلَيْهِمُ ٱلسَّلاَمُ
wal-inabata walttawfiqa lima waffaqta lahu muhammadan wa ala muhammadin `alayhi wa `alayhim alssalamu
turning to You, and success to that to which You led Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad, peace be upon him and them.
