ای کاش قادر بودم علی را به روزگاری ببرمI wish I were able to take Ali to an era,
که مردمش قدر همچون او را می‌دانستندwhere its people would appreciate someone like him.

تا دنیا دنیاستas long as the world remains the world,
چشم مظلوم بنی آدم دنبال علی می‌گرددthe oppressed eyes of mankind search for Ali.
دنبال علی می‌گردد (2x)They search for Ali,
حتی اگر که حق (2x)Even if it is the Truth,
حتی اگر که نور چشمی نبیندش محو میشودeven if it is Light, if no eye beholds it, it will fade.

علی تنهاست بی مردمAli is alone without the people,
ولی در خواب گمراهی بماند بی علی مردمyet the people remain in the slumber of astrayness without Ali,
بماند بی علی مردمthe people remain without Ali.
درد اینه مردمThis is the pain, O people:
اگر ما پای کار ولی نباشیمif we do not stand up for the guardian,
ولی علی هم باشه کاری نمی‌تونه بکنهeven if that guardian is Ali, he can achieve nothing.
این‌قدر تنها شدHe became so lonely,
یه شبای آخر گفتthat in one of his final nights he said:
ای خدایی که دانه رو از خاک بیرون می‌کشی"O God Who brings forth the seed from the earth,
منو خلاص کن از دست ایناdeliver me from the hands of these people."
اینه غصه امیرالمؤمنین‌هاThis was the sorrow of the Commander of the Faithful.
ما علی رو فقط برای آخرت نمی‌خوایمWe do not seek Ali only for the Hereafter;
علی رو برای دنیامونم می‌خوایمwe want Ali for our world as well.
اما می‌دونی علی یه نفر داشتYet you know, Ali had someone,
برای همه‌ی عالم بس بودwho was enough for all the worlds.
ای قله حق‌خواهیO peak of seeking the truth,
یا فاطمه الزهراO Fatima al-Zahra!
تو دست یداللهیYou are the hand of the Hand of God,
یا فاطمه الزهراO Fatima al-Zahra!
ای خطبه‌ی طوفانیO stormy sermon,
یا فاطمه الزهراO Fatima al-Zahra!
حق هستی و می‌مانیYou are truth and shall endure,
یا فاطمه الزهراO Fatima al-Zahra!
میزان اگر علی‌ستIf Ali is the standard,
تحت ولایتشunder his guardianship,
دنیا و آخرت آباد می‌شوندboth this world and the hereafter flourish.
مولا اگر که اوستIf he is the Master,
هر کس که با علی‌ستwhoever stands with Ali
از بند هرچه هست آزاد میشودis liberated from every shackle.
ای نهضت بیداریO movement of awakening,
یا فاطمه الزهراO Fatima al-Zahra!
