بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِIn the Name of Allah, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.
اَلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِي اذْهَبَ ٱللَّيْلَ مُظْلِماً بِقُدْرَتِهِAll praise be to Allah Who has taken away the shadowy night by His power
وَجَاءَ بِٱلنَّهَارِ مُبْصِراً بِرَحْمَتِهِand brought the sight-giving day through His mercy.
وَكَسَانِي ضِيَاءَهُ وَآتَانِي نِعْمَتَهُHe has clothed me in its brightness and given me its favor.
اللَّهُمَّ فَكَمَا ابْقَيْتَنِي لَهُ فَ ابْقِنِي لامْثَالِهِO Allah, just as You have spared me for this day, so also spare me for its likes,
وَصَلِّ عَلَىٰ ٱلنَّبِيِّ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِهِbless the Prophet Muhammad and his Household,
وَلاَ تَفْجَعْنِي فِيهِ وَفِي غَيْرِهِtorment me not in it and in other
مِنَ ٱللَّيَالِي وَٱلايَّامِnights and days
بِٱرْتِكَابِ ٱلْمَحَارِمِby my commitment of unlawful acts
وَٱكْتِسَابِ ٱلْمَآثِمِand clothing myself in sins;
وَٱرْزُقْنِي خَيْرَهُprovide me with its good,
وَخَيْرَ مَا فِيهِthe good of all within it,
وَخَيْرَ مَا بَعْدَهُand the good of everything after it;
وَٱصْرِفْ عَنِّي شَرَّهُand turn away from me its evil,
وَشَرَّ مَا فِيهِthe evil of all within it,
وَشَرَّ مَا بَعْدَهُand the evil of everything after it!
اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي بِذِمَّةِ ٱلإِسْلامِ اتَوَسَّلُ إِلَيْكَO Allah, by the protective cover of Islam, I seek mediation with You!
وَبِحُرْمَةِ ٱلْقُرآنِ اعْتَمِدُ عَلَيْكَBy the inviolability of the Quran, I rely upon You!
وَبِمُحَمَّدٍ ٱلْمُصْطَفَىٰBy Muhammad the chosen,
صَلَّىٰ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْه وَآلِهِAllah bless him and his Household,
اسْتَشْفِعُ لَدَيْكَI seek intercession with You.
فَٱعْرِفِ ٱللَّهُمَّ ذِمَّتِيSo, recognize my protective cover
ٱلَّتِي رَجَوْتُ بِهَا قَضَاءَ حَاجَتِيby which I hope my need will be granted,
يَا ارْحَمَ ٱلرَّاحِمِينَO Most Merciful of all those who show mercy!
اَللَّهُمَّ ٱقْضِ لِي فِي ٱلْخَمِيسِ خَمْساًO Allah, decree for me on Thursday five things,
لاَ يَتَّسِعُ لَهَا إِلاَّ كَرَمُكَwhich none embraces but Your generosity
وَلاَ يُطِيقُهَا إِلاَّ نِعَمُكَand none supports but Your favors:
سَلامَةً اقْوَىٰ بِهَا عَلَىٰ طَاعَتِكَhealth through which I may have the strength to obey You,
وَعِبَادَةً اسْتَحِقُّ بِهَا جَزِيلَ مَثُوبَتِكَworship by which I may deserve Your plentiful reward,
وَسَعَةً فِي ٱلْحَالِ مِنَ ٱلرِّزْقِ ٱلْحَلالِplenty in my state through lawful provision,
وَ انْ تُؤْمِنَنِي فِي مَوَاقِفِ ٱلْخَوْفِ بِامْنِكَand that You make me secure in the places of fear through Your security,
وَتَجْعَلَنِي مِنْ طَوَارِقِ ٱلْهُمُومِ وَٱلْغُمُومِ فِي حِصْنِكَand place me in Your fortress against the striking of worries and sorrows!
صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِهِBless Muhammad and his Household,
وَٱجْعَلْ تَوَسُّلِي بِهِ شَافِعاًand make my seeking his mediation as an intercessor give profit
يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَامَةِ نَافِعاًon the Day of Resurrection!
إِنَّكَ انْتَ ارْحَمُ ٱلرَّاحِمِينَSurely, You are the Most Merciful of all those who show mercy!
