أثر حافر على ضلوعهThe mark of hooves upon his ribs;

قعدت أشتم بوريدهI sat kissing and breathing his jugular vein.

جروح ألف وتسعميةOne thousand and nine hundred wounds,

شفت ماكو صبع بإيدهand I saw that a finger was severed from his hand.

دمعتي وراها مصيبةBehind my tears lies a great tragedy:
