يَا عَلِيَّ بْنَ أَبِى طَاِلبٍِِO 'Ali, son of Abu Talib;

يَا حُجَّةَ اللَّهِ عَلى خَلْقِهِO decisive argument of God to humanity;

يَا سَيِّدَنَا وَمَوْلانَاO our chief, O our master;

إِنَّا تَوَجَّهْنَا وَاسْتَشْفَعْنَا وَتَوَسَّلْنَا بِكَ إِلىَ اللَّهِWe turn towards you, and seek your intercession and advocacy before God;

وَقَدَّمْنَاكَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْ حَاجَاتِنَاWe present to you our clear need;

يَا وَجِيهًا عِندَ اللَّهِ اشْفَعْ لَنَا عِندَ اللَّهِO intimate friend of God, stand by us when God sits in judgement over us!

يَا فَاطِمَةُ الزَّهْرَآءُ، يَا بِنتَ مُحَمَّدٍO Fatima the Radiant (az-Zahraa), O daughter of Muhammad;

يَا قُرَّةَ عَيْنِ الرَّسُولِO Joy of the Prophet's Eye;

يَا سَيِّدَتَنَا وَمَوْلاتَنَاO our chief, O our mistress;

إِنَّا تَوَجَّهْنَا وَاسْتَشْفَعْنَا وَتَوَسَّلْنَا بِكِ إِلَىٰ ٱللَّهِWe turn towards you, and seek your intercession and advocacy before God;

وَقَدَّمْنَاكِ بَيْنَ يَدَيْ حَاجَاتِنَاWe present to you our clear need;

يَا وَجِيهَةً عِنْدَ ٱللَّهِ إِشْفَعي لَنَا عِنْدَ ٱللَّهِO intimate friend of God, stand by us when God sits in judgement over us!

يَآ أَبَا مُحَمَّدٍ، يَا حَسَنَ بْنَ عَلِيٍَّO father of Muhammad, O Hasan, son of 'Ali;

أَيُّهَاُّ الْمُجْتَبَى يَا ابْنَ رَسُولِ اللَّهَِO elected one, O descendant of the Messenger of God;

يَا حُجَّةَ اللَّهِ عَلى خَلْقِهِO decisive argument of God to humanity;

يَا سَيِّدَنَا وَمَوْلانَاO our chief, O our master,

إِنَّا تَوَجَّهْنَا وَاسْتَشْفَعْنَا وَتَوَسَّلْنَا بِكَ إِلىَ اللَّهِWe turn towards you, and seek your intercession and advocacy before God;

وَقَدَّمْنَاكَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْ حَاجَاتِنَاWe present to you our clear need;

يَا وَجِيهًا عِندَ اللَّهِ اشْفَعْ لَنَا عِندَ اللَّهِO intimate friend of God, stand by us when God sits in judgement over us!

يَآ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ يَا حُسَيْنَ بْنَ عَلِيٍَّO father of 'Abdallah, O Husayn, son of 'Ali;

أَيُّهَا الشَّهِيدُ يَا ابْنَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِO Martyr (shaheed), O descendant of the Messenger of God;

يَا حُجَّةَ اللَّهِ عَلى خَلْقِهِO decisive argument of God to humanity;

يَا سَيِّدَنَا وَمَوْلانَاO our chief, O our master,

إِنَّا تَوَجَّهْنَا وَاسْتَشْفَعْنَا وَتَوَسَّلْنَا بِكَ إِلىَ اللَّهِWe turn towards you, and seek your intercession and advocacy before God;

وَقَدَّمْنَاكَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْ حَاجَاتِنَاWe present to you our clear need;

يَا وَجِيهًا عِندَ اللَّهِ اشْفَعْ لَنَا عِندَ اللَّهِO intimate friend of God, stand by us when God sits in judgement over us!

يَآ أَبَا الْحَسَنِ، يَا عَلِيَّ بْنَ الْحُسَيْنًِِO father of Hasan, O 'Ali, son of al-Husayn;

يَا زَيْنَ الْعَابِدِينَ يَا ابْنَ رَسُولِ اللَّهًِO you who are the best of the worshippers (Zayn al-Abideen), O descendant of the Messenger of God;

يَا حُجَّةَ اللَّهِ عَلى خَلْقِهِO decisive argument of God over humanity;

يَا سَيِّدَنَا وَمَوْلانَاO our chief, O our master,

إِنَّا تَوَجَّهْنَا وَاسْتَشْفَعْنَا وَتَوَسَّلْنَا بِكَ إِلىَ اللَّهِWe turn towards you, and seek your intercession and advocacy before God;

وَقَدَّمْنَاكَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْ حَاجَاتِنَاWe present to you our clear need;

يَا وَجِيهًا عِندَ اللَّهِ اشْفَعْ لَنَا عِندَ اللَّهِO intimate friend of God, stand by us when God sits in judgement over us!

يَآ أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ، يَّا مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ عَلِيٍَّO father of Ja'far, O Muhammad, son of 'Ali;

أَيُّهَا الْبَاقِرُ، يَا ابْنَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِO you who are the most knowledgable (al-Baqir), O descendant of the Messenger of God;

يَا حُجَّةَ اللَّهِ عَلى خَلْقِهِO decisive argument of God to humanity;

يَا سَيِّدَنَا وَمَوْلانَاO our chief, O our master,

إِنَّا تَوَجَّهْنَا وَاسْتَشْفَعْنَا وَتَوَسَّلْنَا بِكَ إِلىَ اللَّهِWe turn towards you, and seek your intercession and advocacy before God;

وَقَدَّمْنَاكَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْ حَاجَاتِنَاWe present to you our clear need;

يَا وَجِيهًا عِندَ اللَّهِ اشْفَعْ لَنَا عِندَ اللَّهِO intimate friend of God, stand by us when God sits in judgement over us!

يَآ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، يَا جَعْفَرَ بْنَ مُحَمَّدٍO father of 'Abdallah, O Ja'far, son of Muhammad;

أَيُّهَا الصَّادِقُ، يَا ابْنَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِO truthful one (as-Sadiq), O descendant of the Messenger of God;

يَا حُجَّةَ اللَّهِ عَلى خَلْقِهِO decisive argument of God to humanity;

يَا سَيِّدَنَا وَمَوْلانَاO our chief, O our master,

إِنَّا تَوَجَّهْنَا وَاسْتَشْفَعْنَا وَتَوَسَّلْنَا بِكَ إِلىَ اللَّهِWe turn towards you, and seek your intercession and advocacy before God;

وَقَدَّمْنَاكَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْ حَاجَاتِنَاWe present to you our clear need;

يَا وَجِيهًا عِندَ اللَّهِ اشْفَعْ لَنَا عِندَ اللَّهِO intimate friend of God, stand by us when God sits in judgement over us!

يَآ أَبَا إِبْرَاهِيمَ، يَا مُوسَى بْنَ جَعْفَرٍO father of Ibrahim, O Musa, son of Ja'far;

أَيُّها الْكَاظِمُ، يَا ابْنَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِO tranquil one (al-Kaazim), O descendant of the Messenger of God;

يَا حُجَّةَ اللَّهِ عَلى خَلْقِهِO decisive argument of God to humanity;

يَا سَيِّدَنَا وَمَوْلانَاO our chief, O our master,

إِنَّا تَوَجَّهْنَا وَاسْتَشْفَعْنَا وَتَوَسَّلْنَا بِكَ إِلىَ اللَّهِWe turn towards you, and seek your intercession and advocacy before God;

وَقَدَّمْنَاكَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْ حَاجَاتِنَاWe present to you our clear need;

يَا وَجِيهًا عِندَ اللَّهِ اشْفَعْ لَنَا عِندَ اللَّهِO intimate friend of God, stand by us when God sits in judgement over us!

يَآ أَبَا الْحَسَنِ، يَا عَلِيَّ بْنَ مُوسَيُO father of Hasan, O 'Ali, son of Musa;

أَيُّهَا الرِّضَاِ، يَا ابْنَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِO devoted one (ar-Ridhaa), O descendant of the Messenger of God;

يَا حُجَّةَ اللَّهِ عَلى خَلْقِهِO decisive argument of God to humanity;

يَا سَيِّدَنَا وَمَوْلانَاO our chief, O our master,

إِنَّا تَوَجَّهْنَا وَاسْتَشْفَعْنَا وَتَوَسَّلْنَا بِكَ إِلىَ اللَّهِWe turn towards you, and seek your intercession and advocacy before God;

وَقَدَّمْنَاكَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْ حَاجَاتِنَاWe present to you our clear need;

يَا وَجِيهًا عِندَ اللَّهِ اشْفَعْ لَنَا عِندَ اللَّهِO intimate friend of God, stand by us when God sits in judgement over us!

يَآ أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ، يَا مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ عَلِيٍّO father of Ja'far, O Muhammad, son of 'Ali;

أَيُّهَا التَّقِيُّ الْجَوَادُ، يَا ابْنَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِO generous (taqi) and pious one (jawaad), O descendant of the Messenger of God;

يَا حُجَّةَ اللَّهِ عَلى خَلْقِهِO decisive argument of God to humanity;

يَا سَيِّدَنَا وَمَوْلانَاO our chief, O our master,

إِنَّا تَوَجَّهْنَا وَاسْتَشْفَعْنَا وَتَوَسَّلْنَا بِكَ إِلىَ اللَّهِWe turn towards you, and seek your intercession and advocacy before God;

وَقَدَّمْنَاكَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْ حَاجَاتِنَاWe present to you our clear need;

يَا وَجِيهًا عِندَ اللَّهِ اشْفَعْ لَنَا عِندَ اللَّهِO intimate friend of God, stand by us when God sits in judgement over us!

يَآ أَبَا الْحَسَنِ، يَا عَلِيَّ بْنَ مُحَمَّدٍO father of Hasan, O Ali, son of Muhammad;

أَيُّهَا الْهَادِى النَّقِيُّ، يَا ابْنَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِO guide (al-hadi) and pure one (naqi), O descendant of the Messenger of God;

يَا حُجَّةَ اللَّهِ عَلى خَلْقِهِO decisive argument of God to humanity;

يَا سَيِّدَنَا وَمَوْلانَاO our chief, O our master,

إِنَّا تَوَجَّهْنَا وَاسْتَشْفَعْنَا وَتَوَسَّلْنَا بِكَ إِلىَ اللَّهِWe turn towards you, and seek your intercession and advocacy before God;

وَقَدَّمْنَاكَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْ حَاجَاتِنَاWe present to you our clear need;

يَا وَجِيهًا عِندَ اللَّهِ اشْفَعْ لَنَا عِندَ اللَّهِO intimate friend of God, stand by us when God sits in judgement over us!

يَآ أَبَا مُحَمَّدٍ، يَا حَسَنَ بْنَ عَلِيٍّO father of Muhammad, O Hasan, son of 'Ali;

أَيُّهَا الزَّكِيُّ الْعَسْكَرِي،ُّ يَا ابْنَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِO wise one (az-Zaki) and warrior (al-Askari), O descendant of the Messenger of God;

يَا حُجَّةَ اللَّهِ عَلى خَلْقِهِO decisive argument of God to humanity;

يَا سَيِّدَنَا وَمَوْلانَاO our chief, O our master,

إِنَّا تَوَجَّهْنَا وَاسْتَشْفَعْنَا وَتَوَسَّلْنَا بِكَ إِلىَ اللَّهِWe turn towards you, and seek your intercession and advocacy before God;

وَقَدَّمْنَاكَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْ حَاجَاتِنَاWe present to you our clear need;

يَا وَجِيهًا عِندَ اللَّهِ اشْفَعْ لَنَا عِندَ اللَّهِO intimate friend of God, stand by us when God sits in judgement over us!

يَا وَصِيَّ الْحَسَنِ وَالْخَلَفَ الْحُجَّةَO inheritor of al-Hasan, O successor, O upright one, O Proof (al-hujah);

أَيُّهَا الْقَآئِمُ الْمُنتَظَرُ الْمَهْدِيُّO awaited upriser (al-Qaaim ul-Muntazir), O Mahdi!

يَا ابْنَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِO descendant of the Messenger of God;

يَا حُجَّةَ اللَّهِ عَلى خَلْقِهِO decisive argument of God to humanity;

يَا سَيِّدَنَا وَمَوْلانَاO our chief, O our master,

إِنَّا تَوَجَّهْنَا وَاسْتَشْفَعْنَا وَتَوَسَّلْنَا بِكَ إِلىَ اللَّهِWe turn towards you, and seek your intercession and advocacy before God;

وَقَدَّمْنَاكَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْ حَاجَاتِنَاWe present to you our clear need;

يَا وَجِيهًا عِندَ اللَّهِ اشْفَعْ لَنَا عِندَ اللَّهِO intimate friend of God, stand by us when God sits in judgement over us!

يَا سَادَتِى وَمَوَاِليَّ، إِنِّى تَوَجَّهْتُ بِكُمْO my chiefs, O my masters, I turn to God through you!

أَئِمَّتِى وَعُدَّتِي، لِيَوْمِ فَقْرِى وَحَاجَتِى إِلىَ اللَّهِO my Imams, my supporters on the days of my destitution.

وَتَوَسَّلْتُ بِكُمْ إِلىَ اللَّهِI seek your advocacy before God;

وَاسْتَشْفَعْتُ بِكُمْ إِلىَ اللَّهِI request you to speak in my favor before God;

فَاشْفَعُوا لِى عِندَ اللَّهِobtain pardon for me from God;

وَاسْتَنقِذُونِى مِن ذُنُوبِى عِندَ اللَّهِand deliver me from my sins;

فَإِنَّكُمْ وَسِيلَتِى إِلىَ اللَّهِFor surely you are my means to God.

وَبِحُبِّكِمْ وَبِقُرْبِكُمْ أَرْجُو نَجَاةً مِّنَ اللَّهِThrough my love for you and nearness to you,

فَكُونُوا عِندَ اللَّهِ رَجَآئِىَobtain deliverance [for me] from God;

يَا سَادَاتِى يَآ أَوْلِيَآءَ اللَّهِO my chiefs, O close friends of God!

صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِمْ أَجْمَعِينَِMay God bless all of them,

وَلَعَنَ اللَّهُ أَعْدَآءَ اللَّهِ ظَالِمِيهِم مِّنَ الأَوَّلِينَ وَالآخِرِينَand curse the enemies of God who have oppressed them and will oppress them--

آمِينَ رَبَّ الْعَالَمِينََSo be it, truly, O Lord of all the worlds!
