سوره شمس

وَٱلنَّهَارِ إِذَا جَلَّىٰهَاby the day when it reveals her,

وَٱلَّيْلِ إِذَا يَغْشَىٰهَاby the night when it covers her,

الله الله الله الله اللهAllah, Allah, Allah, Allah, Allah!

مَا شَاءَ ٱللَّهُAs Allah willed!

وَٱلشَّمْسِ وَضُحَىٰهَاBy the sun and her forenoon splendour,

وَٱلْقَمَرِ إِذَا تَلَىٰهَاby the moon when he follows her,

وَٱلنَّهَارِ إِذَا جَلَّىٰهَاby the day when it reveals her,

وَٱلَّيْلِ إِذَا يَغْشَىٰهَاby the night when it covers her,

وَٱلسَّمَآءِ وَمَا بَنَىٰهَاby the sky and Him who built it,

الله اللهAllah! Allah!

يا أمير المؤمنينO Commander of the Faithful!

كويس ولا كويس يا يا محمودGood, or more than good, O Mahmoud!

ها؟ عايز...Huh? You want...?

لطيفBeautiful!

وَٱلسَّمَآءِ وَمَا بَنَىٰهَاby the sky and Him who built it,

وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا طَحَىٰهَاby the earth and Him who spread it,

وَنَفْسٍ وَمَا سَوَّىٰهَاby the soul and Him who fashioned it,

فَأَلْهَمَهَا فُجُورَهَا وَتَقْوَىٰهَاand inspired it with [discernment between] its virtues and vices:

اللهAllah!

صَدَقَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْعَلِىُّ ٱلْعَظِيمُAllah, the Exalted, the Supreme, has spoken the truth.

يا عم... اللهO master... Allah!
