فَكَمْ يَا إلهِي مِنْ كُرْبَةٍ قَدْ فَرَّجْتَهَا،How often, O my God, You have relieved me of troubles

وَهُمُومٍ قَدْ كَشَفْتَهَا،how many grief's You have dispelled,

وَعَثْرَةٍ قَدْ أَقَلْتَهَا، وَرَحْمَةٍ قَدْ نَشَرْتَهَا،how many mistakes You have prevented, how many blessings You have spread,

وَحَلْقَةِ بَلاءٍ قَدْ فَكَكْتَهَا؟and how many series of afflictions You have separated.

الْحَمْدُ لِلّهِ الَّذِي لَمْ يَتَّخِذْ صَاحِبَةً وَلا وَلَداًAll Praise is for Allāh who has not taken a wife nor a son,

وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ شَرِيكٌ فِي الْمُلْكِwho has no partner in His Kingdom,

وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ وَلِيٌّ مِنَ الذُّلِّ وَكَبِّرْهُ تَكْبِيراً.who has no friend to protect Him from humiliation, so magnify Him with a great Magnificence.

الْحَمْدُ لِلّهِ بِجَمِيعِ مَحَامِدِهِ كُلِّهَا،All Praise is for Allāh for all His praiseworthy acts,

عَلَى جَمِيعِ نِعَمِهِ كُلِّهَا.for all His favors and blessings.

الْحَمْدُ لِلّهِ الَّذِي لا مُضَادَّ لَهُ فِي مُلْكِهِ،All Praise is for Allāh who has no opposition in His Kingdom,

وَلا مُنَازِعَ لَهُ فِي أَمْرِهِ.nor any challenge to His command.

الْحَمْدُ لِلّهِ الَّذِي لا شَرِيكَ لَهُ فِي خَلْقِهِ،All Praise is for Allāh who has no partner in creation,

وَلا شَبِيهَ لَهُ فِي عَظَمَتِهِ.nor anyone like Him in His Greatness.

الْحَمْدُ لِلّهِ الْفَاشِي فِي الْخَلْقِ أَمْرُهُ وَحَمْدُهُ،All Praise is for Allāh, His commands operate over His creation,

وَحَمْدُهُ، الظَّاهِرِ بِالْكَرَمِ مَجْدُهُ،and his Praise is evident through His Generosity,

الْبَاسِطِ بِالْجُودِ يَدَهُ،whose bestowal stretches out liberally.

الَّذِي لا تَنْقُصُ خَزَائِنُهُ،His treasures never decrease,

وَلا تَزِيدُهُ كَثْرَةُ الْعَطَاءِ إلاَّ جُوداً وَكَرَماً(rather) the frequency of His Giving increases His Generosity and Kindness.

إِنَّهُ هُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الْوَهَّابُSurely He is the Mighty, the Bestower.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِىّ أَسْأَلُكَ قَلِيلا مِنْ كَثِيرٍO Allāh I ask You a little from much,

مَعَ حَاجَةٍ بِى إِلَيْهِ عَظِيمَةٍalthough I am in great need of it,

وَ غِنَاكَ عَنْهُ قَدِيمwhile You are eternally needless of it,

وَ هُوَ عِنْدِى كَثِيرٌ وَ هُوَ عَلَيْكَ سَهْلٌ يَسِيرthough it is a lot for me, while it is easy and simple for You.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّ عَفْوَكَ عَنْ ذَنْبِى وَ تَجَاوُزَكَ عَنْ خَطِ يئَتِىO Allāh, indeed Your forgiveness of my sins and Your overlooking my faults,

وَصَفْحَكَ عَنْ ظُلْمِي، وَسِتْرَكَ عَلَى قَبِيحِ عَمَلِي،Your pardoning my oppression, Your hiding my ugly deeds,

وَحِلْمَكَ عَنْ كَثِيرِ جُرْمِيand Your forbearing my many wrongs,

عِنْدَ مَا كَانَ مِنْ خَطَإي وَعَمْدِيdone intentionally or unintentionally,

أَطْمَعَنِي فِي أَنْ أَسْأَلَكَ مَا لا أَسْتَوْجِبُهُ مِنْكَtempted me to ask from You what I did not deserve from You,

الَّذِي رَزَقْتَنِي مِنْ رَحْمَتِكَ،which You (still) gave me out of Your Mercy,

وَأَرَيْتَنِي مِنْ قُدْرَتِكَ، وَعَرَّفْتَنِي مِنْ إجَابَتِكَ،provided me by Your Power, and made known to me from Your answers.

فَصِرْتُ أَدْعُوكَ آمِناً، وَأَسْأَلُكَ مُسْتَأْنِساًSo I became habituated to call You trustingly and ask You familiarly,

لا خَائِفاً وَلا وَجِلاً،neither fearing nor scared,

مُدِلاً عَلَيْكَ فِيمَا قَصَدْتُ فِيهِ إلَيْكَ،but with confidence in You for what I intended.

فَإنْ أَبْطَأ عَنِّي عَتَبْتُ بِجَهْلِي عَلَيْكَ،Then if there was a delay (in Your answer), I would blame You, due to my ignorance,

وَلَعَلَّ الَّذِي أَبْطَأَ عَنِّي هُوَ خَيْرٌ لِي لِعِلْمِكَ بِعَاقِبَةِ الأُمُورِ،and perhaps the delay was best for me, for You know the outcome of all affairs.

فَلَمْ أَرَ مَوْلَىً كَرِيماًhave not seen a more generous master

أَصْبَرَ عَلَى عَبْدٍ لَئِيمٍ مِنْكَ عَلَيَّ،patient with a wretched slave, than You are with me.

يَارَبِّ، إنَّكَ تَدْعُونِي فَأُوَلِّي عَنْكَ،My Lord, You call me and I turn away from You,

وَتَتَحَبَّبُ إلَيَّ فأَتَبَغَّضُ إلَيْكَ،You show affection to me and I show hatred towards You,

وَ تَتَوَدَّدُ إِلَىَّ فَلا أَقْبَلُ مِنْكَ كَأَنَّ لِىَ التَّطَوُّلَ عَلَيْكَYou display Your love for me and I do not respond, as though I am above You.

فَلَمْ يَمْنَعْكَ ذلِكَ مِنَ الرَّحْمَةِ لِيBut this does not prevent You from having mercy on me,

وَ الْإِحْسَانِ إِلَىَّbeing good to me,

وَالتَّفَضُّلِ عَلَيَّ بِجُودِكَ وَكَرَمِكَ،and favoring me, through Your Generosity and Nobility.

فَارْحَمْ عَبْدَكَ الْجَاهِلَSo please (continue to) have mercy on your ignorant slave,

وَجُدْ عَلَيْهِ بِفَضْلِ إحْسَانِكَand be kind to him through the excellence of Your Grace.

إنَّكَ جَوَادٌ كَرِيمٌ.Surely You are the Bountiful, the Generous.

الْحَمْدُ لِلّهِ مَالِكِ الْمُلْكِ، مُجْرِي الْفُلْكِ،All Praise is for Allāh, the Owner of the Kingdom, who makes the ships sail,

مُسَخِّرِ الرِّيَاحِ، فَالِقِ الإصْبَاحِ،controls the wind, causes the dawn to break,

دَيَّانِ الدِّينِ، رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ.is the authority on the Day of Judgment, (and) is the Lord of the worlds.

الْحَمْدُ لِلّهِ عَلَى حِلْمِهِ بَعْدَ عِلْمِهِ،All Praise is for Allāh for His patience despite His knowledge.

وَالْحَمْدُ لِلّهِ عَلَى عَفْوِهِ بَعْدَ قُدْرَتِهِ،All Praise is for Allāh for His forgiveness despite His power.

وَالْحَمْدُ لِلّهِ عَلَى طُولِ أَنَاتِهِ فِي غَضَبِهِAll Praise is for Allāh for the lengthy respite He gives despite His anger,

وَهُوَ قَادِرٌ عَلَى مَا يُرِيدُ.though He has the power to do as He wills.

الْحَمْدُ لِلّهِ خَالِقِ الْخَلْقِ،All Praise is for Allāh the creator of all creation,

بَاسِطِ الرِّزْقِ، فَالِقِ الإصْبَاحِ،the provider of plentiful sustenance, the cleaver of the dawn,

ذِي الْجَلالِ وَالإكْرَامِ وَالْفَضْلِ وَالإنْعَامِpossessor of Glory and Honor, and Excellence and Blessings,

الَّذِي بَعُدَ فَلا يُرَى، وَقَرُبَ فَشَهِدَ النَّجْوَى،who is far and thus cannot be seen, but is close and thus witnesses secret conversations.

تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى.Blessed and Exalted be His name.

الْحَمْدُ لِلّهِ الَّذِي لَيْسَ لَهُ مُنَازِعٌ يُعَادِلُهُ،All Praise is for Allāh who has no equal who argues with Him,

وَلا شَبِيهٌ يُشَاكِلُهُ،nor anyone similar to Him,

وَلا ظَهِيرٌ يُعَاضِدُهُ،nor any Helper to support Him.

قَهَرَ بِعِزَّتِهِ الأَعِزَّاءَ،He overpowers the mighty by His strength,

وَتَوَاضَعَ لِعَظَمَتِهِ الْعُظَمَاءُ،and the great humble themselves before His greatness.

فَبَلَغَ بِقُدْرَتِهِ مَا يَشَاءُ.He accomplishes what He wishes through His power.

الْحَمْدُ لِلّهِ الَّذِي يُجِيبُنِي حِينَ أُنَادِيهِ،All Praise is for Allāh who answers me when I call Him,

وَيَسْتُرُ عَلَيَّ كُلَّ عَوْرَةٍ وَأَنَا أَعْصِيهِ،covers all my faults yet I disobey Him,

وَيُعَظِّمُ النِّعْمَةَ عَلَيَّ فَلا أُجَازِيهِ،increases His bounties on me but I do not acknowledge them.

فَكَمْ مِنْ مَوْهِبَةٍ هَنِيئَةٍ قَدْ أَعْطَانِي،How many pleasant gifts He has given me,

وَعَظِيمَةٍ مَخُوفَةٍ قَدْ كَفَانِي،how many great fears He has removed,

وَبَهْجَةٍ مُونِقَةٍ قَدْ أَرَانِي؟And how many delightful joys He has shown me.

فَأُثْنِي عَلَيْهِ حَامِداً، وَأَذْكُرُهُ مُسَبِّحاً.Thus I glorify Him, thanking Him and I remember Him with praise.

الْحَمْدُ لِلّهِ الَّذِي لا يُهْتَكُ حِجَابُهُ،All praise is for Allāh, whose curtains cannot be opened,

وَلا يُغْلَقُ بَابُهُ،whose doors cannot be locked,

وَلا يُرَدُّ سَائِلُهُ،who does not reject the one who asks Him,

وَلا يُخَيَّبُ آمِلُهُ.and who does not disappoint the one who places hope in Him.

الْحَمْدُ لِلّهِ الَّذِي يُؤْمِنُ الْخَائِفِينَ،All Praise is for Allāh, who provides safety for the frightened,

وَيُنَجِّي الصَّالِحِينَ، وَيَرْفَعُ الْمُسْتَضْعَفِينَ،rescues the virtuous, raises the oppressed,

وَيَضَعُ الْمُسْتَكْبِرِينَ، وَيُهْلِكُ مُلُوكاًhumiliates the proud, destroys kings,

وَيَسْتَخْلِفُ آخَرِينَ؛and replaces them with others.

وَالْحَمْدُ لِلّهِ قَاصِمِ الْجَبَّارِينَ،All Praise is for Allāh, who crushes the tyrants,

مُبِيرِ الظَّالِمِينَ، مُدْرِكِ الْهَارِبِينَ،annihilates the oppressors, watches over the runaways,

نَكَالِ الظَّالِمِينَ، صَرِيخِ الْمُسْتَصْرِخِينَ،punishes the oppressors, assists those who cry for help,

مَوْضِعِ حَاجَاتِ الطَّالِبِينَ مُعْتَمَدِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَgrants the requests of the beseechers, and is the confidence of the believers.

الْحَمْدُ لِلّهِ الَّذِي مِنْ خَشْيَتِهِ تَرْعُدُ السَّمَاءُ وَسُكَّانُهَا،All praise is for Allāh in whose awe the skies and its inhabitants shake,

وَتَرْجُفُ الأَرْضُ وَعُمَّارُهَا،the earth and its inhabitants tremble,

وَتَمُوجُ الْبِحَارُ وَمَنْ يَسْبَحُ فِي غَمَرَاتِهَا،the sea and all that swims in it billow.

الْحَمْدُ لِلّهِ الَّذِي هَدَانَا لِهذَاAll praise is for Allāh who guided us to this

وَمَا كُنَّا لِنَهْتَدِيَ لَوْلا أَنْ هَدَانَا اللّهُ.and we would not have been guided had Allāh not guided us to this.

الْحَمْدُ لِلّهِ الَّذِي يَخْلُقُ وَلَمْ يُخْلَقْ،All Praise is for Allāh who creates but is not created,

وَيَرْزُقُ وَلا يُرْزَقُ، وَيُطْعِمُ وَلا يُطْعَمُ،gives sustenance but is not given sustenance, feeds but is not fed

وَيُمِيتُ الأَحْيَاءَ، وَيُحْيِي الْمَوْتَى،causes the living to die, and gives life to the dead.

وَهُوَ حَيٌّ لا يَمُوتُ، بِيَدِهِ الْخَيْرُ،He is Ever‐Living and does not die, (and) in His control is all good,

وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ.and He has power over all things.

اللّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدِكَ وَرَسُولِكَO Allāh send Your Blessings on Muhammad, Your servant, Your Messenger,

وَأَمِينِكَ وَصَفِيِّكَ وَحَبِيبِكَYour trustee, Your chosen One, Your beloved,

وَخِيَرَتِكَ مِنْ خَلْقِكَ،the best of Your creation,

وَحَافِظِ سِرِّكَ، وَمُبَلِّغِ رِسَالاتِكَthe preserver of Your secrets, and the preacher of Your messages,

أَفْضَلَ وَأَحْسَنَ وَأَجْمَلَthe most superior, elegant, handsome,

وَأَكْمَلَ وَأَزْكَىperfect, upright,

وَأَنْمَى وَأَطْيَبَ وَأَطْهَرَ وَأَسْنَىprosperous, pleasant, holy and sublime,

وَأَكْثَرَ مَا صَلَّيْتَ وَبَارَكْتَ وَتَرَحَّمْتَmore than what You have blessed, given, had mercy,

وَ تَحَنَّنْتَ وَ سَلَّمْتَsympathized and greeted,

عَلَى أَحَدٍ مِنْ عِبَادِكَ وَأَنْبِيَائِكَanyone from Your servants, Your Prophets,

وَ رُسُلِكَ وَ صِفْوَتِكَYour Messengers, Your chosen ones

وَ أَهْلِ الْكَرَامَةِ عَلَيْكَ مِنْ خَلْقِكَ.and the honorable ones from Your creation.

اللَّهُمَّ وَ صَلِّ عَلَى عَلِىٍّ أَمِيرِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَO Allāh, and send Your blessings on Alī, the commander of the faithful,

وَ وَصِىِّ رَسُولِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ،and the successor of the Messenger of the Lord of the worlds.

عَبْدِكَ وَ وَلِيِّكَYour servant, Your friend,

وَ أَخِى رَسُولِكَ وَ حُجَّتِكَ عَلَى خَلْقِكَthe brother of Your Messenger, Your proof over creation,

وَ آيَتِكَ الْكُبْرَى وَ النَّبَإِ الْعَظِيمِYour great sign, and the mighty awaited news.

وَ صَلِّ عَلَى الصِّدِّيقَةِ الطَّاهِرَةِAnd send blessings on the truthful, pure (lady)

فَاطِمَةَ الزَّهْرَاءِ سَيِّدَةِ نِسَاءِ الْعَالَمِينَFātima al‐Zahrā, the leader of the women of the worlds.

وَصَلِّ عَلَى سِبْطَيِ الرَّحْمَةِ،And send Your blessings on the two grandsons of mercy (unto the world),

وَإمَامَيِ الْهُدَىthe leaders of guidance,

الْحَسَنِ وَالْحُسَيْنِal‐Hasan and al‐Husayn,

سَيِّدَيْ شَبَابِ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ،the leaders of the youths of Paradise.

وَصَلِّ عَلَى أَئِمَّةِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ:And send blessings on the leaders of Muslims,

عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِAlī son of Husayn,

وَ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِىٍّMuhammad son of Alī,

وَ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍJafar son of Muhammad,

وَ مُوسَى بْنِ جَعْفَرٍMūsā son of Jafar,

وَ عَلِىِّ بْنِ مُوسَىAlī son of Mūsa,

وَ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِىٍّMuhammad son of Alī

وَ عَلِىِّ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍAlī son of Muhammad,

وَالْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ،Hasan son of Alī,

وَالْخَلَفِ الْهَادِي الْمَهْدِيِّ،and the successor, the guide, and the rightly guided.

حُجَجِكَ عَلَى عِبَادِكَ وَ أُمَنَائِكَ فِى بِلادِكَ(These are) Your proofs over Your servants, Your trustees on Your land.

صَلاةً كَثِيرَةً دَائِمَةً.Bless (them with) numerous and continuous blessings.

اللّهُمَّ وَصَلِّ عَلَى وَليِّ أَمْرِكَ الْقَائِمِ الْمُؤَمَّلِ،O Allāh send blessings on the guardian of Your orders, the one who will rise,

وَ الْعَدْلِ الْمُنْتَظَرِthe one hoped for, the awaited justice.

وَ حُفَّهُ بِمَلائِكَتِكَ الْمُقَرَّبِينَSurround him with Your favorite angels

وَأَيِّدْهُ بِرُوحِ الْقُدُسِ يَارَبَّ الْعَالَمِينَ.and assist him with the holy spirit, O Lord of the worlds.

اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْهُ الدَّاعِىَ إِلَى كِتَابِكَO Allāh, appoint him to invite towards Your book

وَ الْقَائِمَ بِدِينِكَto establish Your religion.

اسْتَخْلِفْهُ فِى الْأَرْضِMake him the successor on the earth

كَمَا اسْتَخْلَفْتَ الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِas You caused others to succeed before him.

مَكِّنْ لَهُ دِينَهُ الَّذِ ى ارْتَضَيْتَهُ لَهEstablish for him his religion which You have approved for him.

أَبْدِلْهُ مِنْ بَعْدِ خَوْفِهِ أَمْناًGive him security after fear

يَعْبُدُكَ لا يُشْرِكُ بِكَ شَيْئاً.(so) he worships You and does not associate any with You.

اللَّهُمَّ أَعِزَّهُ وَ أَعْزِزْ بِهِO Allāh, give him power and through him strengthen (others),

وَ انْصُرْهُ وَ انْتَصِرْ بِهِhelp him and help (others) through him.

وَ انْصُرْهُ نَصْرا عَزِيزاHelp him with a mighty help,

وَ افْتَحْ لَهُ فَتْحا يَسِيراand give him an easy victory,

وَاجْعَلْ لَهُ مِنْ لَدُنْكَ سُلْطَاناً نَصِيراً.and grant him an assisting authority from You.

اللَّهُمَّ أَظْهِرْ بِهِ دِينَكَO Allāh, make manifest through him Your religion

وَ سُنَّةَ نَبِيِّكَand the way of Your Prophet,

حَتَّى لا يَسْتَخْفِيَ بِشَيْءٍ مِنَ الْحَقِّuntil nothing from the truth

مَخَافَةَ أَحَدٍ مِنَ الْخَلْقِ.remains hidden from any human being.

اللّهُمَّ إنَّا نَرْغَبُ إلَيْكَ فِي دَوْلَةٍ كَرِيمَةٍO Allāh, we earnestly desire from You an honored state,

تُعِزُّ بِهَا الإسْلامَ وَأَهْلَهُ،through which You strengthen Islam and its people

وَتُذِلُّ بِهَا النِّفَاقَ وَأَهْلَهُ،and degrade hypocrisy and its followers.

وَ تَجْعَلُنَا فِيهَا مِنَ الدُّعَاةِ إِلَى طَاعَتِكَAnd make us in it amongst the inviters towards Your obedience,

وَ الْقَادَةِ إِلَى سَبِيلِكَand the leaders to Your path.

وَتَرْزُقُنَا بِهَا كَرَامَةَ الدُّنْيَا وَالآخِرَةِ.Give us through it honor of the world and the Hereafter.

اللّهُمَّ مَا عَرَّفْتَنَا مِنَ الْحَقِّ فَحَمِّلْنَاهُ،O Allāh, what You have made known to us of the truth, help us bear it,

وَمَا قَصُرْنَا عَنْهُ فَبَلِّغْنَاهُ.and what we fall short, make us reach it.

اللّهُمَّ الْمُمْ بِه شَعَثَنَا،O Allāh, through him put order in our affairs,

وَاشْعَبْ بِهِ صَدْعَنَا،gather and unite our flocks,

وَ ارْتُقْ بِهِ فَتْقَنَا وَ كَثِّرْ بِهِ قِلَّتَنَاjoin together our separations, increase our minority,

وَ أَعْزِزْ بِهِ ذِلَّتَنَا وَ أَغْنِ بِهِ عَائِلَنَاlift us from degradation, relieve our miseries,

وَاقْضِ بِهِ عَنْ مُغْرَمِنَا، وَاجْبُرْ بِهِ فَقْرَنَا،pull us out of our debts, remove our poverty,

وَسُدَّ بِهِ خَلَّتَنَا، وَيَسِّرْ بِهِ عُسْرَنَا،fill the gaps in our confusion, ease our difficulties,

وَبَيِّضْ بِهِ وُجُوهَنَا، وَفُكَّ بِهِ أَسْرَنَا،brighten our faces, free our prisoners,

وَأَنْجِحْ بِهِ طَلِبَتَنَا، وَأَنْجِزْ بِهِ مَوَاعِيدَنَا،grant our requests, fulfill our promises,

وَ اسْتَجِبْ بِهِ دَعْوَتَنَا وَ أَعْطِنَا بِهِ سُؤْلَنَاanswer our calls, grant us our requests,

وَبَلِّغْنَا بِهِ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَالآخِرَةِ آمَالَنَا،cause us to obtain what we hope for, from this world and the hereafter,

وَ أَعْطِنَا بِهِ فَوْقَ رَغْبَتِنَاand give us more than our expectations.

يَا خَيْرَ الْمَسْؤُولِينَ، وَأَوْسَعَ الْمُعْطِينَ،O the best of all who are asked and the most generous of bestowers,

اشْفِ بِهِ صُدُورَنَا، وَأَذْهِبْ بِهِ غَيْظَ قُلُوبِنَا،through him, cleanse our chests, remove the stains of anger and hatred from our hearts,

وَاهْدِنَا بِهِ لِمَا اخْتُلِفَ فِيهِ مِنَ الْحَقِّ بِإذْنِكَ،and guide us to the truth on disputed matters, by Your permission.

إنَّكَ تَهْدِي مَنْ تَشَاءُ إلَى صِرَاطٍ مُسْتَقِيمٍ،Surely You guide whom You wish to the right path.

وَانْصُرْنَا بِهِ عَلَى عَدُوِّكَ وَعَدُوِّنَاThrough him help us to overcome Your enemy and our enemy.

إلهَ الْحَقِّ آمِينَ.O God of truth, Amen.

اللّهُمَّ إنَّا نَشْكُو إلَيْكَ فَقْدَ نَبِيِّنَاO Allāh, we complain to You of the absence of our Prophet,

صَلَوَاتُكَ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِYour blessings be on him and his family,

وَغَيْبَةَ وَلِيِّنَا، وَكَثْرَةَ عَدُوِّنَا،the concealment of our leader, the abundance of our enemies,

وَقِلَّةَ عَدَدِنَا، وَشِدَّةَ الْفِتَنِ بِنَا،the scarcity of our numbers, the severity of our trials,

وَتَظَاهُرَ الزَّمَانِ عَلَيْنَا،and the victory of the era against us.

فَصَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِهِ،So bless Muhammad and his family

وَأَعِنَّا عَلَى ذلِكَ بِفَتْحٍ مِنْكَ تُعَجِّلُهُ،and help us overcome that by granting us an immediate victory,

وَبِضُرٍّ تَكْشِفُهُ، وَنَصْرٍ تُعِزُّهُ،dispersing miseries, giving us a help that strengthens,

وَسُلْطَانِ حَقٍّ تُظْهِرُهُ،providing an authority of truth which You manifest,

وَرَحْمَةٍ مِنْكَ تُجَلِّلُنَاهَاa mercy from You which is clear to us,

وَعَافِيَةٍ مِنْكَ تُلْبِسُنَاهَا،and a wellbeing from You which clothes us

بِرَحْمَتِكَ يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ.by Your mercy, O most Merciful.
