سخن از کاف و ها و یا گویمI shall speak of Kaf, Ha, and Ya,
صحبت از عین و شین و قاف کنمAnd discourse upon ‘Ayn, Shin, and Qaf [‘Ishq / Love].
حرف از معنی حجاب زنمI speak of the true essence of modesty,
یاد از بانوی عفاف کنمAnd commemorate the Lady of Chastity.

کرمت شامل رجال و نساءYour generosity embraces men and women alike,
حرمت مستجار شیخ و صبیYour sanctuary is a refuge for the elder and the child.
ای ملقب به زینب زینبO you who are titled 'Zainab, Zainab',
تو سزاوار این چنین لقبیYou alone are worthy of such a title.
زینبت خوانده است گرچه خدایThough God Himself named you Zainab,
به خدا زین جد و ام و ابیBy God, you are the adornment of your grandfather, mother, and father!
تو آینه‌ی صفات حقYou are the mirror of the Divine attributes,
عفت تام، عصمت مطلقPerfection of chastity, absolute purity.
خطبه‌هایت مبلغ مکتبYour sermons are the herald of the faith,
گریه‌هایت مذهبYour tears preserve the creed.
از تو بایدOf you one must sing,
از تو باید سرود در هر روزOf you one must sing every day,
بر تو باید گریست در هر شبFor you one must weep every night.
من چه گویم که در رساله عشقWhat can I say, when in the treatise of love,
عشق فتوا دهد بر این مطلبLove itself decrees this ruling:
با ادب با وضو بباید بردWith reverence and ritual ablution one must utter
