بِسْمِ ٱللَّه ٱلرَّحْمٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِIn the Name of Allah, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ كَلِمَةِ ٱلْمُعْتَصِمِينَ“In the name of Allah,” the word of those who hold fast to Him,
وَمَقَالَةِ ٱلْمُتَحَرِّزِينَthe speech of those who seek His protection
وَ اعُوذُ بِٱللَّهِ تَعَالَىٰ مِنْ جَوْرِ ٱلْجَائِرِينَI seek refuge in Allah, high exalted is He, from the injustice of the unjust,
وَكَيْدِ ٱلْحَاسِدِينَthe trickery of the enviers,
وَبَغْيِ ٱلظَّالِمِينَand the oppression of the wrongdoers,
وَ احْمَدُهُ فَوْقَ حَمْدِ ٱلْحَامِدِينَand I praise Him beyond the praise of the praisers!
اَللَّهُمَّ انْتَ ٱلْوَاحِدُ بِلا شَرِيكٍO Allah, You are the One without partner,
وَٱلْمَلِكُ بِلا تَمْلِيكٍand the King without having been made sovereign;
لاَ تُضَادُّ فِي حُكْمِكَno one opposes You in Your decree
وَلاَ تُنَازَعُ فِي مُلْكِكَand no one contests You in Your kingdom.
اسْالُكَ انْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِهِI beseech You to bless Muhammad and his Household,
عَبْدِكَ وَرَسُولِكَYour servant and Your messenger,
وَانْ تُوْزِعَنِي مِنْ شُكْرِ نَعْمَاكَinspire me with a thanksgiving for Your favors
مَا تَبْلُغُ بِي غَايَةَ رِضَاكَthat You take to the utmost limit of Your good pleasure,
وَانْ تُعِينَنِي عَلَىٰ طَاعَتِكَhelp me to obey You,
وَلُزُومِ عِبَادَتِكَhold fast to worshiping You,
وَٱسْتِحْقَاقِ مَثُوبَتِكَand deserve Your reward,
بِلُطْفِ عِنَايَتِكَthrough the gentleness of Your solicitude
وَتَرْحَمَنِي وَتَصُدَّنِي عَنْ مَعَاصِيكَ مَا احْيَيْتَنِيhave mercy upon me, bar me from acts of disobedience to You as long as You keep me alive,
وَتُوَفِّقَنِي لِمَا يَنْفَعُنِي مَا ابْقَيْتَنِيgive me success in what profits me as long as You spare me,
وَانْ تَشْرَحَ بِكِتَابِكَ صَدْرِيexpand my breast through Your Book,
وَتَحُطَّ بِتِلاوَتِهِ وِزْرِيlessen my burden through its recitation,
وَتَمْنَحَنِي ٱلسَّلامَةَ فِي دِينِي وَنَفْسِيbestow upon me health in my religion and my soul,
وَلاَ تُوحِشْ بِي اهلَ انْسِيestrange not my intimates from me,
وَتُتِمَّ إِحْسَانَكَ فِيمَا بَقِيَ مِنْ عُمُرِيand complete Your beneficence in what is left of my lifetime,
كَمَا احْسَنْتَ فِيمَا مَضَىٰ مِنْهُjust as You have shown beneficence in that of it which has passed!
يَا ارْحَمَ ٱلرَّاحِمِينَO Most Merciful of all those who show mercy!
