إمام الإنس والجنةImam of humankind and the unseen beings,

إمام الإنس والجنة حيدر الكرارImam of humankind and the unseen beings, Haydar, the fierce conqueror.

أنت الإمام والوليYou are the Imam and the Guardian,

ولا فتى إلا علي (3x)And there is no brave champion except Ali.

علي يا علي مولاي يا علي (2x)Ali, O Ali, my master, O Ali.

خدك المنقوط سحرا ووجه القمرYour enchanting cheek and moon-like countenance,

ووجه القمرAnd your moon-like face.

واتخذت الحزن حكرا أم عنك صدىHave I made sorrow my sole domain, or is it an echo from you?

أم عنك صدىOr is it an echo from you?

لا أرى عندي عذرا (2x)I find no excuse for myself,

إن قلت بشرIf I call you a mere mortal,

فنور الله ينجليAnd the light of Allah shines bright,

ولا فتى إلا علي (3x)And there is no hero like Ali,

علي يا علي مولاي علي (3x)Ali, O Ali, my master Ali,

يا عليO Ali!

صلوا على محمد وآل محمدSend blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad.

اللهم صل على محمد وآل محمدO Allah, bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad.

آجركم الله جميعاMay Allah reward you all,

ونسأله تعالى أن يجعلها مناسبة شريفة عطرةAnd we ask the Almighty to make this a noble and fragrant occasion

علينا وعليكم وعلى الأمة الإسلامية جمعاءFor us, for you, and for the entire Islamic nation.

ونسأله أن يعيدها علينا وعليكم بالخير واليمن والبركاتAnd we ask Him to bring it back to us and you with goodness, prosperity, and blessings.

وآجركم اللهMay Allah reward you,

والسلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاتهAnd peace be upon you, and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.
