وَمُتَوَالِياً مُسْتَوْسِقاًcontinually, methodically!

وَصَلَوَاتُهُ عَلَىٰ رَسُولِهِ ابَداًAnd may His blessings be upon His Messenger endlessly,

وَسَلامُهُ دَائِماً سَرْمَداًand His salutation (be upon him) everlastingly, eternally!

اَللَّهُمَّ ٱجْعَلْ اوَّلَ يَوْمِي هٰذَا صَلاَحاًO Allah, (please) make the beginning of this day of mine righteousness,

وَ اوْسَطَهُ فَلاَحاًits middle prosperity,

وَآخِرَهُ نَجَاحاًand its end success!

وَ اعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ يَوْمٍ اَوَّلُهُ فَزَعٌI seek refuge in You from a day whose beginning is fright,

وَ اوْسَطُهُ جَزَعٌwhose middle is anxiety,

وَآخِرُهُ وَجَعٌand whose end is pain!

اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي اسْتَغْفِرُكَ لِكُلِّ نَذْرٍ نَذَرْتُهُO Allah, I seek forgiveness from You for every vow I have vowed,

وَلِكُلِّ وَعْدٍ وَعَدْتُهُevery promise I have made,

وَلِكُلِّ عَهْدٍ عَاهَدْتُهُand every pledge I have pledged

ثُمَّ لَمْ افِ لَكَ بِهِand then I failed to keep it for You.

وَ اسْالُكَ فِي مَظَالِمِ عِبَادِكَ عِنْدِيI ask You concerning the complaints of Your servants against me:

فَايُّمَا عَبْدٍ مِنْ عَبِيدِكَIf there is a servant from among Your servants

اوْ امَةٍ مِنْ إِمَائِكَor a bondmaid from among Your bondmaids,

كَانَتْ لَهُ قِبَلِي مَظْلَمَةٌ ظَلَمْتُهَا إِيَّاهُwho has against me a complaint

فِي نَفْسِهِ اوْ فِي عِرْضِهِbecause I have wronged him in respect to himself, his reputation,

اوْ فِي مَالِهِ اوْ فِي اهْلِهِ وَوَلَدِهِhis property, his wife or his child,

اوْ غِيبَةٌ ﭐغْتَبْتُهُ بِهَاor because evil words I have spoken about him in his absence,

اوْ تَحَامُلٌ عَلَيهِ بِمَيْلٍ اوْ هَوًىٰan imposition upon him through inclination, caprice,

اوْ انَفَةٍ اوْ حَمِيَّةٍscorn, zeal,

اوْ رِيَاءٍ اوْ عَصَبِيَّةٍfalse show, bigotry,

غَائِباً كَانَ اوْ شَاهِداًwhether he be absent or present,

وَحَيّاً كَانَ اوْ مَيِّتاًalive or dead,

فَقَصُرَتْ يَدِيsuch that my hand has fallen short

وَضَاقَ وُسْعِي عَنْ رَدِّهَا إِلَيْهِand my capacity has been too narrow to make restitution to him

وَٱلتَّحَلُّلِ مِنْهُor to annul my obligation to him,

فَاسْالُك يَا مَنْ يَمْلِكُ ٱلْحَاجَاتِI ask You, O He who owns all objects of need,

وَهِيَ مُسْتَجِيبَةٌ بِمَشِيَّتِهِwhich are granted by His will

وَمُسْرِعَةٌ إِلَىٰ إِرَادَتِهِand hasten to His desire

انْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍthat You bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad,

وَانْ تُرْضِيَهُ عَنِّي بِمَا شِئْتَand make [the one I have wronged] satisfied with me in the manner that You will,

وَتَهَبَ لِي مِنْ عِنْدِكَ رَحْمَةًand gift me mercy from You,

إِنَّهُ لاَ تَنْقُصُكَ ٱلْمَغْفِرَةُbecause, indeed, forgiveness does not disadvantage You

وَلاَ تَضُرُّكَ ٱلْمَوْهِبَةُand giving does not have any loss for You.

يَا ارْحَمَ ٱلرَّاحِمِينَO Most Merciful of all those who show mercy!

اَللَّهُمَّ اوْلِنِي فِي كُلِّ يَومِ ٱثْنَيْنِO Allah, bestow upon me on every Monday

نِعْمَتَيْنِ مِنْكَ ثِنْتَيْنِtwo favors from You:

سَعَادَةً فِي اوَّلِهِ بِطَاعَتِكَthe felicity to obey You at its beginning

وَنِعْمَةً فِي آخِرِهِ بِمَغْفِرَتِكَand the favor of Your forgiveness at its end!

يَا مَنْ هُوَ ٱلإِلٰهُO He who is the God

وَلاَ يَغْفِرُ ٱلذُّنُوبَ سِوَاهُand none other than Whom grants forgiveness for sins!
