Surah Al-Qadr

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

1. 97:1

   إِنَّآ أَنزَلْنَـٰهُ فِى لَيْلَةِ ٱلْقَدْرِ﴿١﴾

   ˈinnā ˈanzalnāhu fī laylati l-qadri

   Indeed We sent it down on the Night of Ordainment.

2. 97:2

   وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا لَيْلَةُ ٱلْقَدْرِ﴿٢﴾

   wa-mā ˈadrāka mā laylatu l-qadri

   And what will show you what is the Night of Ordainment?

3. 97:3

   لَيْلَةُ ٱلْقَدْرِ خَيْرٌ مِّنْ أَلْفِ شَهْرٍ﴿٣﴾

   laylatu l-qadri ḫayrun min ˈalfi šahrin

   The Night of Ordainment is better than a thousand months.

4. 97:4

   تَنَزَّلُ ٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ وَٱلرُّوحُ فِيهَا بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِم مِّن كُلِّ أَمْرٍ﴿٤﴾

   tanazzalu l-malāˈikatu wa-r-rūḥu fīhā bi-ˈiḏni rabbihim min kulli ˈamrin

   In it the angels and the Spirit descend, by the leave of their Lord, with every command.

5. 97:5

   سَلَـٰمٌ هِىَ حَتَّىٰ مَطْلَعِ ٱلْفَجْرِ﴿٥﴾

   salāmun hiya ḥattā maṭlaʿi l-faǧri

   It is peaceful until the rising of the dawn.
