Surah Al-Fath

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

1. 48:1

   إِنَّا فَتَحْنَا لَكَ فَتْحًا مُّبِينًا﴿١﴾

   ˈinnā fataḥnā laka fatḥan mubīnan

   Indeed We have inaugurated for you a clear victory,

2. 48:2

   لِّيَغْفِرَ لَكَ ٱللَّهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِن ذَنۢبِكَ وَمَا تَأَخَّرَ وَيُتِمَّ نِعْمَتَهُۥ عَلَيْكَ وَيَهْدِيَكَ صِرَٰطًا مُّسْتَقِيمًا﴿٢﴾

   li-yaġfira laka llāhu mā taqaddama min ḏanbika wa-mā taˈaḫḫara wa-yutimma niʿmatahū ʿalayka wa-yahdiyaka ṣirāṭan mustaqīman

   that Allah may forgive you what is past of your sin and what is to come, and that He may perfect His blessing upon you and guide you on a straight path,

3. 48:3

   وَيَنصُرَكَ ٱللَّهُ نَصْرًا عَزِيزًا﴿٣﴾

   wa-yanṣuraka llāhu naṣran ʿazīzan

   and Allah will help you with a mighty help.

4. 48:4

   هُوَ ٱلَّذِىٓ أَنزَلَ ٱلسَّكِينَةَ فِى قُلُوبِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ لِيَزْدَادُوٓا۟ إِيمَـٰنًا مَّعَ إِيمَـٰنِهِمْ ۗ وَلِلَّهِ جُنُودُ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ عَلِيمًا حَكِيمًا﴿٤﴾

   huwa llaḏī ˈanzala s-sakīnata fī qulūbi l-muˈminīna li-yazdādū ˈīmānan maʿa ˈīmānihim wa-li-llāhi ǧunūdu s-samāwāti wa-l-ˈarḍi wa-kāna llāhu ʿalīman ḥakīman

   It is He who sent down composure into the hearts of the faithful that they might enhance in their faith. To Allah belong the hosts of the heavens and the earth, and Allah is all-knowing, all-wise.

5. 48:5

   لِّيُدْخِلَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَٱلْمُؤْمِنَـٰتِ جَنَّـٰتٍ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُ خَـٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا وَيُكَفِّرَ عَنْهُمْ سَيِّـَٔاتِهِمْ ۚ وَكَانَ ذَٰلِكَ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ فَوْزًا عَظِيمًا﴿٥﴾

   li-yudḫila l-muˈminīna wa-l-muˈmināti ǧannātin taǧrī min taḥtihā l-ˈanhāru ḫālidīna fīhā wa-yukaffira ʿanhum sayyiˈātihim wa-kāna ḏālika ʿinda llāhi fawzan ʿaẓīman

   That He may admit the faithful, men and women, into gardens with streams running in them, to remain in them [forever], and that He may absolve them of their misdeeds. That is a great success with Allah.

6. 48:6

   وَيُعَذِّبَ ٱلْمُنَـٰفِقِينَ وَٱلْمُنَـٰفِقَـٰتِ وَٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ وَٱلْمُشْرِكَـٰتِ ٱلظَّآنِّينَ بِٱللَّهِ ظَنَّ ٱلسَّوْءِ ۚ عَلَيْهِمْ دَآئِرَةُ ٱلسَّوْءِ ۖ وَغَضِبَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَعَنَهُمْ وَأَعَدَّ لَهُمْ جَهَنَّمَ ۖ وَسَآءَتْ مَصِيرًا﴿٦﴾

   wa-yuʿaḏḏiba l-munāfiqīna wa-l-munāfiqāti wa-l-mušrikīna wa-l-mušrikāti ẓ-ẓānnīna bi-llāhi ẓanna s-sawˈi ʿalayhim dāˈiratu s-sawˈi wa-ġaḍiba llāhu ʿalayhim wa-laʿanahum wa-ˈaʿadda lahum ǧahannama wa-sāˈat maṣīran

   That He may punish the hypocrites, men and women, and the polytheists, men and women, who entertain a bad opinion of Allah. For them shall be an adverse turn of fortune: Allah is wrathful with them and He has cursed them, and prepared hell for them and it is an evil destination.

7. 48:7

   وَلِلَّهِ جُنُودُ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ عَزِيزًا حَكِيمًا﴿٧﴾

   wa-li-llāhi ǧunūdu s-samāwāti wa-l-ˈarḍi wa-kāna llāhu ʿazīzan ḥakīman

   To Allah belong the hosts of the heavens and the earth, and Allah is all-mighty, all-wise.

8. 48:8

   إِنَّآ أَرْسَلْنَـٰكَ شَـٰهِدًا وَمُبَشِّرًا وَنَذِيرًا﴿٨﴾

   ˈinnā ˈarsalnāka šāhidan wa-mubašširan wa-naḏīran

   Indeed We have sent you as a witness, and as a bearer of good news and warner,

9. 48:9

   لِّتُؤْمِنُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦ وَتُعَزِّرُوهُ وَتُوَقِّرُوهُ وَتُسَبِّحُوهُ بُكْرَةً وَأَصِيلًا﴿٩﴾

   li-tuˈminū bi-llāhi wa-rasūlihī wa-tuʿazzirūhu wa-tuwaqqirūhu wa-tusabbiḥūhu bukratan wa-ˈaṣīlan

   that you may have faith in Allah and His Apostle, and that you may support him and revere him, and that you may glorify Him morning and evening.

10. 48:10

    إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يُبَايِعُونَكَ إِنَّمَا يُبَايِعُونَ ٱللَّهَ يَدُ ٱللَّهِ فَوْقَ أَيْدِيهِمْ ۚ فَمَن نَّكَثَ فَإِنَّمَا يَنكُثُ عَلَىٰ نَفْسِهِۦ ۖ وَمَنْ أَوْفَىٰ بِمَا عَـٰهَدَ عَلَيْهُ ٱللَّهَ فَسَيُؤْتِيهِ أَجْرًا عَظِيمًا﴿١٠﴾

    ˈinna llaḏīna yubāyiʿūnaka ˈinnamā yubāyiʿūna llāha yadu llāhi fawqa ˈaydīhim fa-man nakaṯa fa-ˈinnamā yankuṯu ʿalā nafsihī wa-man ˈawfā bi-mā ʿāhada ʿalayhu llāha fa-sa-yuˈtīhi ˈaǧran ʿaẓīman

    Indeed those who swear allegiance to you, swear allegiance only to Allah: the hand of Allah is above their hands. Then whosoever breaks his oath, breaks it only to his own detriment, and whoever fulfills the covenant he has made with Allah, He will give him a great reward.

11. 48:11

    سَيَقُولُ لَكَ ٱلْمُخَلَّفُونَ مِنَ ٱلْأَعْرَابِ شَغَلَتْنَآ أَمْوَٰلُنَا وَأَهْلُونَا فَٱسْتَغْفِرْ لَنَا ۚ يَقُولُونَ بِأَلْسِنَتِهِم مَّا لَيْسَ فِى قُلُوبِهِمْ ۚ قُلْ فَمَن يَمْلِكُ لَكُم مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ شَيْـًٔا إِنْ أَرَادَ بِكُمْ ضَرًّا أَوْ أَرَادَ بِكُمْ نَفْعًۢا ۚ بَلْ كَانَ ٱللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرًۢا﴿١١﴾

    sa-yaqūlu laka l-muḫallafūna mina l-ˈaʿrābi šaġalatnā ˈamwālunā wa-ˈahlūnā fa-staġfir lanā yaqūlūna bi-ˈalsinatihim mā laysa fī qulūbihim qul fa-man yamliku lakum mina llāhi šayˈan ˈin ˈarāda bikum ḍarran ˈaw ˈarāda bikum nafʿan bal kāna llāhu bi-mā taʿmalūna ḫabīran

    The Bedouins who had stayed back [from joining the Prophet in his ‘umrah journey to Makkah] will tell you, ‘Our possessions and families kept us occupied. So plead [to Allah] for our forgiveness!’ They will say with their tongues what is not in their hearts. Say, ‘Whether He desires to cause you harm or desires to bring you benefit, who can be of any avail to you against Allah[’s will]? Indeed Allah is well aware of what you do.’

12. 48:12

    بَلْ ظَنَنتُمْ أَن لَّن يَنقَلِبَ ٱلرَّسُولُ وَٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ إِلَىٰٓ أَهْلِيهِمْ أَبَدًا وَزُيِّنَ ذَٰلِكَ فِى قُلُوبِكُمْ وَظَنَنتُمْ ظَنَّ ٱلسَّوْءِ وَكُنتُمْ قَوْمًۢا بُورًا﴿١٢﴾

    bal ẓanantum ˈan lan yanqaliba r-rasūlu wa-l-muˈminūna ˈilā ˈahlīhim ˈabadan wa-zuyyina ḏālika fī qulūbikum wa-ẓanantum ẓanna s-sawˈi wa-kuntum qawman būran

    Rather, you thought that the Apostle and the faithful will not ever return to their folks, and that was made to seem decorous to your hearts; you entertained evil thoughts, and you were a ruined lot.

13. 48:13

    وَمَن لَّمْ يُؤْمِنۢ بِٱللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦ فَإِنَّآ أَعْتَدْنَا لِلْكَـٰفِرِينَ سَعِيرًا﴿١٣﴾

    wa-man lam yuˈmin bi-llāhi wa-rasūlihī fa-ˈinnā ˈaʿtadnā li-l-kāfirīna saʿīran

    Those who have no faith in Allah and His Apostle [should know that] We have prepared a blaze for the faithless.

14. 48:14

    وَلِلَّهِ مُلْكُ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ يَغْفِرُ لِمَن يَشَآءُ وَيُعَذِّبُ مَن يَشَآءُ ۚ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ غَفُورًا رَّحِيمًا﴿١٤﴾

    wa-li-llāhi mulku s-samāwāti wa-l-ˈarḍi yaġfiru li-man yašāˈu wa-yuʿaḏḏibu man yašāˈu wa-kāna llāhu ġafūran raḥīman

    To Allah belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth: He forgives whomever He wishes, and punishes whomever He wishes, and Allah is all-forgiving, all-merciful.

15. 48:15

    سَيَقُولُ ٱلْمُخَلَّفُونَ إِذَا ٱنطَلَقْتُمْ إِلَىٰ مَغَانِمَ لِتَأْخُذُوهَا ذَرُونَا نَتَّبِعْكُمْ ۖ يُرِيدُونَ أَن يُبَدِّلُوا۟ كَلَـٰمَ ٱللَّهِ ۚ قُل لَّن تَتَّبِعُونَا كَذَٰلِكُمْ قَالَ ٱللَّهُ مِن قَبْلُ ۖ فَسَيَقُولُونَ بَلْ تَحْسُدُونَنَا ۚ بَلْ كَانُوا۟ لَا يَفْقَهُونَ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا﴿١٥﴾

    sa-yaqūlu l-muḫallafūna ˈiḏā nṭalaqtum ˈilā maġānima li-taˈḫuḏūhā ḏarūnā nattabiʿkum yurīdūna ˈan yubaddilū kalāma llāhi qul lan tattabiʿūnā ka-ḏālikum qāla llāhu min qablu fa-sa-yaqūlūna bal taḥsudūnanā bal kānū lā yafqahūna ˈillā qalīlan

    [In the near future] when you will set out to capture booty, those who stayed behind [in this journey] will say, : ‘Let us follow you.’ They desire to change the word of Allah. Say, ‘You will never follow us! Allah has said thus beforehand.’ Then they will say, ‘You are envious of us.’ Indeed, they do not understand but a little.

16. 48:16

    قُل لِّلْمُخَلَّفِينَ مِنَ ٱلْأَعْرَابِ سَتُدْعَوْنَ إِلَىٰ قَوْمٍ أُو۟لِى بَأْسٍ شَدِيدٍ تُقَـٰتِلُونَهُمْ أَوْ يُسْلِمُونَ ۖ فَإِن تُطِيعُوا۟ يُؤْتِكُمُ ٱللَّهُ أَجْرًا حَسَنًا ۖ وَإِن تَتَوَلَّوْا۟ كَمَا تَوَلَّيْتُم مِّن قَبْلُ يُعَذِّبْكُمْ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًا﴿١٦﴾

    qul li-l-muḫallafīna mina l-ˈaʿrābi sa-tudʿawna ˈilā qawmin ˈulī baˈsin šadīdin tuqātilūnahum ˈaw yuslimūna fa-ˈin tuṭīʿū yuˈtikumu llāhu ˈaǧran ḥasanan wa-ˈin tatawallaw ka-mā tawallaytum min qablu yuʿaḏḏibkum ʿaḏāban ˈalīman

    Say to the Bedouins who stayed behind, ‘[Later on] you will be called against a people of a great might: they will either embrace Islam, or you will fight them. So if you obey, Allah will give you a good reward; but if you turn away like you turned away before, He will punish you with a painful punishment.’

17. 48:17

    لَّيْسَ عَلَى ٱلْأَعْمَىٰ حَرَجٌ وَلَا عَلَى ٱلْأَعْرَجِ حَرَجٌ وَلَا عَلَى ٱلْمَرِيضِ حَرَجٌ ۗ وَمَن يُطِعِ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥ يُدْخِلْهُ جَنَّـٰتٍ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُ ۖ وَمَن يَتَوَلَّ يُعَذِّبْهُ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًا﴿١٧﴾

    laysa ʿalā l-ˈaʿmā ḥaraǧun wa-lā ʿalā l-ˈaʿraǧi ḥaraǧun wa-lā ʿalā l-marīḍi ḥaraǧun wa-man yuṭiʿi llāha wa-rasūlahū yudḫilhu ǧannātin taǧrī min taḥtihā l-ˈanhāru wa-man yatawalla yuʿaḏḏibhu ʿaḏāban ˈalīman

    There is no blame on the blind, nor is there any blame on the lame, nor is there blame on the sick [if they are unable to go out with the troops to face the enemies]; and whoever obeys Allah and His Apostle, He will admit him into gardens with streams running in them, and whoever refuses to comply, He will punish him with a painful punishment.

18. 48:18

    لَّقَدْ رَضِىَ ٱللَّهُ عَنِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ إِذْ يُبَايِعُونَكَ تَحْتَ ٱلشَّجَرَةِ فَعَلِمَ مَا فِى قُلُوبِهِمْ فَأَنزَلَ ٱلسَّكِينَةَ عَلَيْهِمْ وَأَثَـٰبَهُمْ فَتْحًا قَرِيبًا﴿١٨﴾

    la-qad raḍiya llāhu ʿani l-muˈminīna ˈiḏ yubāyiʿūnaka taḥta š-šaǧarati fa-ʿalima mā fī qulūbihim fa-ˈanzala s-sakīnata ʿalayhim wa-ˈaṯābahum fatḥan qarīban

    Allah was certainly pleased with the faithful when they swore allegiance to you under the tree. He knew what was in their hearts, so He sent down composure on them, and requited them with a victory near at hand

19. 48:19

    وَمَغَانِمَ كَثِيرَةً يَأْخُذُونَهَا ۗ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ عَزِيزًا حَكِيمًا﴿١٩﴾

    wa-maġānima kaṯīratan yaˈḫuḏūnahā wa-kāna llāhu ʿazīzan ḥakīman

    and abundant spoils that they will capture, and Allah is all-mighty, all-wise.

20. 48:20

    وَعَدَكُمُ ٱللَّهُ مَغَانِمَ كَثِيرَةً تَأْخُذُونَهَا فَعَجَّلَ لَكُمْ هَـٰذِهِۦ وَكَفَّ أَيْدِىَ ٱلنَّاسِ عَنكُمْ وَلِتَكُونَ ءَايَةً لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَيَهْدِيَكُمْ صِرَٰطًا مُّسْتَقِيمًا﴿٢٠﴾

    waʿadakumu llāhu maġānima kaṯīratan taˈḫuḏūnahā fa-ʿaǧǧala lakum hāḏihī wa-kaffa ˈaydiya n-nāsi ʿankum wa-li-takūna ˈāyatan li-l-muˈminīna wa-yahdiyakum ṣirāṭan mustaqīman

    Allah has promised you abundant spoils, which you will capture. He has expedited this one for you, and withheld men’s hands from you, so that it may be a sign for the faithful, and that He may guide you to a straight path.

21. 48:21

    وَأُخْرَىٰ لَمْ تَقْدِرُوا۟ عَلَيْهَا قَدْ أَحَاطَ ٱللَّهُ بِهَا ۚ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرًا﴿٢١﴾

    wa-ˈuḫrā lam taqdirū ʿalayhā qad ˈaḥāṭa llāhu bihā wa-kāna llāhu ʿalā kulli šayˈin qadīran

    And other [spoils as well] which you have not yet captured: Allah has comprehended them, and Allah has power over all things.

22. 48:22

    وَلَوْ قَـٰتَلَكُمُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ لَوَلَّوُا۟ ٱلْأَدْبَـٰرَ ثُمَّ لَا يَجِدُونَ وَلِيًّا وَلَا نَصِيرًا﴿٢٢﴾

    wa-law qātalakumu llaḏīna kafarū la-wallawu l-ˈadbāra ṯumma lā yaǧidūna waliyyan wa-lā naṣīran

    If the faithless fight you, they will turn their backs [to flee]. Then they will not find any protector or helper.

23. 48:23

    سُنَّةَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلَّتِى قَدْ خَلَتْ مِن قَبْلُ ۖ وَلَن تَجِدَ لِسُنَّةِ ٱللَّهِ تَبْدِيلًا﴿٢٣﴾

    sunnata llāhi llatī qad ḫalat min qablu wa-lan taǧida li-sunnati llāhi tabdīlan

    [It is] Allah’s precedent that has passed before, and you will never find any change in Allah’s precedent.

24. 48:24

    وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِى كَفَّ أَيْدِيَهُمْ عَنكُمْ وَأَيْدِيَكُمْ عَنْهُم بِبَطْنِ مَكَّةَ مِنۢ بَعْدِ أَنْ أَظْفَرَكُمْ عَلَيْهِمْ ۚ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرًا﴿٢٤﴾

    wa-huwa llaḏī kaffa ˈaydiyahum ʿankum wa-ˈaydiyakum ʿanhum bi-baṭni makkata min baʿdi ˈan ˈaẓfarakum ʿalayhim wa-kāna llāhu bi-mā taʿmalūna baṣīran

    It is He who withheld their hands from you, and your hands from them, in the valley of Makkah, after He had given you victory over them, and Allah sees best what you do.

25. 48:25

    هُمُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ وَصَدُّوكُمْ عَنِ ٱلْمَسْجِدِ ٱلْحَرَامِ وَٱلْهَدْىَ مَعْكُوفًا أَن يَبْلُغَ مَحِلَّهُۥ ۚ وَلَوْلَا رِجَالٌ مُّؤْمِنُونَ وَنِسَآءٌ مُّؤْمِنَـٰتٌ لَّمْ تَعْلَمُوهُمْ أَن تَطَـُٔوهُمْ فَتُصِيبَكُم مِّنْهُم مَّعَرَّةٌۢ بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ ۖ لِّيُدْخِلَ ٱللَّهُ فِى رَحْمَتِهِۦ مَن يَشَآءُ ۚ لَوْ تَزَيَّلُوا۟ لَعَذَّبْنَا ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ مِنْهُمْ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًا﴿٢٥﴾

    humu llaḏīna kafarū wa-ṣaddūkum ʿani l-masǧidi l-ḥarāmi wa-l-hadya maʿkūfan ˈan yabluġa maḥillahū wa-law-lā riǧālun muˈminūna wa-nisāˈun muˈminātun lam taʿlamūhum ˈan taṭˈūhum fa-tuṣībakum minhum maʿarratun bi-ġayri ʿilmin li-yudḫila llāhu fī raḥmatihī man yašāˈu law tazayyalū la-ˈaḏḏabnā llaḏīna kafarū minhum ʿaḏāban ˈalīman

    They are the ones who disbelieved and barred you from the Sacred Mosque, and kept the offering from reaching its destination. And were it not for [certain] faithful men and faithful women, whom you did not know—lest you should trample them, and thus the blame for [killing] them should fall on you unawares; [He held you back] so that Allah may admit into His mercy whomever He wishes. Had they been separate, We would have surely punished the faithless among them with a painful punishment.

26. 48:26

    إِذْ جَعَلَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ فِى قُلُوبِهِمُ ٱلْحَمِيَّةَ حَمِيَّةَ ٱلْجَـٰهِلِيَّةِ فَأَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ سَكِينَتَهُۥ عَلَىٰ رَسُولِهِۦ وَعَلَى ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَأَلْزَمَهُمْ كَلِمَةَ ٱلتَّقْوَىٰ وَكَانُوٓا۟ أَحَقَّ بِهَا وَأَهْلَهَا ۚ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَىْءٍ عَلِيمًا﴿٢٦﴾

    ˈiḏ ǧaʿala llaḏīna kafarū fī qulūbihimu l-ḥamiyyata ḥamiyyata l-ǧāhiliyyati fa-ˈanzala llāhu sakīnatahū ʿalā rasūlihī wa-ʿalā l-muˈminīna wa-ˈalzamahum kalimata t-taqwā wa-kānū ˈaḥaqqa bihā wa-ˈahlahā wa-kāna llāhu bi-kulli šayˈin ʿalīman

    When the faithless nourished bigotry in their hearts, the bigotry of pagan ignorance, Allah sent down His composure upon His Apostle and the faithful, and made them abide by the word of Godwariness, for they were the worthiest of it and deserved it, and Allah has knowledge of all things.

27. 48:27

    لَّقَدْ صَدَقَ ٱللَّهُ رَسُولَهُ ٱلرُّءْيَا بِٱلْحَقِّ ۖ لَتَدْخُلُنَّ ٱلْمَسْجِدَ ٱلْحَرَامَ إِن شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ ءَامِنِينَ مُحَلِّقِينَ رُءُوسَكُمْ وَمُقَصِّرِينَ لَا تَخَافُونَ ۖ فَعَلِمَ مَا لَمْ تَعْلَمُوا۟ فَجَعَلَ مِن دُونِ ذَٰلِكَ فَتْحًا قَرِيبًا﴿٢٧﴾

    la-qad ṣadaqa llāhu rasūlahu r-ruˈyā bi-l-ḥaqqi la-tadḫulunna l-masǧida l-ḥarāma ˈin šāˈa llāhu ˈāminīna muḥalliqīna ruˈūsakum wa-muqaṣṣirīna lā taḫāfūna fa-ʿalima mā lam taʿlamū fa-ǧaʿala min dūni ḏālika fatḥan qarīban

    Certainly Allah has fulfilled His Apostle’s vision in all truth: You will surely enter the Sacred Mosque, God willing, in safety and without any fear, with your heads shaven or hair cropped. So He knew what you did not know, and He assigned [you] besides that a victory near at hand.

28. 48:28

    هُوَ ٱلَّذِىٓ أَرْسَلَ رَسُولَهُۥ بِٱلْهُدَىٰ وَدِينِ ٱلْحَقِّ لِيُظْهِرَهُۥ عَلَى ٱلدِّينِ كُلِّهِۦ ۚ وَكَفَىٰ بِٱللَّهِ شَهِيدًا﴿٢٨﴾

    huwa llaḏī ˈarsala rasūlahū bi-l-hudā wa-dīni l-ḥaqqi li-yuẓhirahū ʿalā d-dīni kullihī wa-kafā bi-llāhi šahīdan

    It is He who has sent His Apostle with guidance and the true religion, that He may make it prevail over all religions, and Allah suffices as witness.

29. 48:29

    مُّحَمَّدٌ رَّسُولُ ٱللَّهِ ۚ وَٱلَّذِينَ مَعَهُۥٓ أَشِدَّآءُ عَلَى ٱلْكُفَّارِ رُحَمَآءُ بَيْنَهُمْ ۖ تَرَىٰهُمْ رُكَّعًا سُجَّدًا يَبْتَغُونَ فَضْلًا مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ وَرِضْوَٰنًا ۖ سِيمَاهُمْ فِى وُجُوهِهِم مِّنْ أَثَرِ ٱلسُّجُودِ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ مَثَلُهُمْ فِى ٱلتَّوْرَىٰةِ ۚ وَمَثَلُهُمْ فِى ٱلْإِنجِيلِ كَزَرْعٍ أَخْرَجَ شَطْـَٔهُۥ فَـَٔازَرَهُۥ فَٱسْتَغْلَظَ فَٱسْتَوَىٰ عَلَىٰ سُوقِهِۦ يُعْجِبُ ٱلزُّرَّاعَ لِيَغِيظَ بِهِمُ ٱلْكُفَّارَ ۗ وَعَدَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ مِنْهُم مَّغْفِرَةً وَأَجْرًا عَظِيمًۢا﴿٢٩﴾

    muḥammadun rasūlu llāhi wa-llaḏīna maʿahū ˈašiddāˈu ʿalā l-kuffāri ruḥamāˈu baynahum tarāhum rukkaʿan suǧǧadan yabtaġūna faḍlan mina llāhi wa-riḍwānan sīmāhum fī wuǧūhihim min ˈaṯari s-suǧūdi ḏālika maṯaluhum fī t-tawrāti wa-maṯaluhum fī l-ˈinǧīli ka-zarʿin ˈaḫraǧa šaṭˈahū fa-ˈāzarahū fa-staġlaẓa fa-stawā ʿalā sūqihī yuʿǧibu z-zurrāʿa li-yaġīẓa bihimu l-kuffāra waʿada llāhu llaḏīna ˈāmanū wa-ʿamilū ṣ-ṣāliḥāti minhum maġfiratan wa-ˈaǧran ʿaẓīman

    Muhammad, the Apostle of Allah, and those who are with him are hard against the faithless and merciful amongst themselves. You see them bowing and prostrating [in worship], seeking Allah’s grace, and [His] pleasure. Their mark is [visible] on their faces, from the effect of prostration. Such is their description in the Torah and their description in the Evangel. Like a tillage that sends out its shoots and builds them up, and they grow stout and settle on their stalks, impressing the sowers, so that He may enrage the faithless by them. Allah has promised those of them who have faith and do righteous deeds forgiveness and a great reward.
