امام حسین علیہ السلام فرمودImam Hussain, peace be upon him, said:
مثلی لا یبایع یزیدOne like me does not pledge allegiance to one like Yazid.
دقت الساعه فی الساعهThe hour has struck, in the hour.
دقت الساعه الله فی الساعهThe hour has struck, God is in the hour.
صاحبی الا صبراMy companions, have patience!
عجل البکا مهلاHasten the weeping, slowly.
ان ربنا اعلن نصرناIndeed, our Lord has announced our victory.
دنا قطعا لا تخف ولا تحزنIt is certainly near, so do not fear and do not grieve.
قسما لو قتلنا ومع القتل نحرق لهتفناI swear, if we were killed and with the killing, burned, we would have shouted:
يقينا أولسنا على الحقWith certainty, are we not on the path of truth?
