يا من تعطي الكثير بالقليلO you who gives much for little,
قلبي على أعتابكم دخيلMy heart is a supplicant at your threshold.
يا بنت من صاموا ثلاثاً في الكتابO daughter of those who fasted three days, as mentioned in the Book,
حاشى أن تردّي أبناءَ السّبيلFar be it from you to turn away the wayfarers.
من المهدِ إلى اللّحدِFrom the cradle to the grave,
على عهدي يا عمةَ المهديI am steadfast in my pledge, O aunt of the Mahdi.
لكِ العتبى لكي ترضيTo you is the apology, so that you may be pleased,
على الجُنديwith the soldier.

قُل إنّي أزورُ مولاي الحسنSay, 'Indeed, I visit my master Al-Hasan.'

يلا اسمع اسمعCome on, listen, listen.
عند أمّ السُّننِ خُذ بالسُّننAt the mother of traditions, take to the traditions.
