هفت آسمان یک برکه در دریای صبرتThe seven heavens are but a pond within the ocean of your patience.
ای هفت شهر عشق در معنای صبرتO you whose patience holds the essence of the seven cities of love,
زانو زدند ایوب‌ها در پای صبرتMultitudes of Jobs fall to their knees before your endurance.
سنگینی شلاق و آن بازو، خدایاThe weight of the whip upon that arm, O God!
زنجیر بر آن قامت دلجو، خدایاChains bound around that graceful frame, O God!
چنگ زندان‌بان و آن گیسو، خدایاThe jailer's grasp upon those locks of hair, O God!
خون و شکسته طاق آن ابرو، خدایاBleeding and broken at the arch of his brow, O God!
موسای ما از طور سینا بی‌عصا رفتOur Moses departed from Mount Sinai without his staff.
تخت سلیمان باز با باد صبا رفتThe throne of Solomon took flight once more upon the morning breeze.
این نوح روی موجی از اشک روان رفتThis Noah sailed away upon waves of flowing tears.

تا پر کشید و دلش پیش رضا رفتUntil he soared away, his heart joining Imam Reza.
وا می‌کند بر روی ما بن‌بست‌ها راHe clears away every impasse that blocks our way;
باب الحوائج شد بگیرد دست‌ها راHe became Bab al-Hawaej to take people by the hand.
حضرت موسی بن جعفر علیه السلام می‌فرمایندImam Musa ibn Ja'far (peace be upon him) says:
در دین خدا دنبال فهم عمیق باشید"Seek deep understanding in the religion of God,
زیرا فهم عمیق در دین کلید بصیرت و کمال عبادتfor deep understanding in religion is the key to insight, the perfection of worship,
و سبب تحصیل مقام‌های بالاand a cause for achieving exalted ranks
و مراتب شکوهمند در امور دین و دنیاستand magnificent standing in matters of faith and the world,
و برتری فقیه بر عابد مانند خورشید است بر ستارگانand the superiority of the jurist over the worshipper is like the sun over the stars;
و کسی که در دینش فهم عمیق نجویدand whoever does not seek deep understanding in their religion,
خداوند هیچ عملی از او را نپسندد.God shall not accept any of their deeds.
