آوردن کنار ضریح مریض بودThey brought her next to the shrine; she was sick

آوردن کنار ضریح گذاشتن رو زمینThey brought her next to the shrine and placed her on the ground

گفت آوردن جلوی این تابوتHe said they brought her before this coffin

این زنه دیدم نفس نفس میزنهI saw this woman gasping for breath

یه جوونی هی تو سرش میزدA young man was beating his head repeatedly

میگفت یا ابوالفضلHe was crying: "O Abolfazl!"

من تو عالم فقط همین مادرمو دارمIn this whole world, I only have this mother of mine

هیچ کس ندارمI have nobody else

شفای مادرمو از تو میخوامI ask you for my mother's healing

خودش هم نشسته بودHe himself was sitting there

یه وقت دیدم نفس این زن به شماره افتادSuddenly, I saw this woman's breath faltering

به خرخر افتادShe began to rattle with her last breaths.

این جوونه بلند شد وایستادThis young man stood straight up,

گفت یا ابوالفضلAnd cried out, "O Abolfazl!

مادرم داره از دستم میرهMy mother is slipping away from me!"

می‌گفت یه وقت دیدم نفس حبس شدHe was saying, suddenly I saw her breath caught in her chest.

بلند شد یا ابوفاضلHe stood up: "O Abu Fadl,

مادرمو شفا بدهHeal my mother!

به خدا اگه شفا ندی عباسBy God, if you do not grant her healing, O Abbas,

بلند میشم میرم نجفI will get up and go to Najaf,

شکایتتو به بابات علی می‌کنمAnd complain about you to your father Ali!"

رفتم جلو گفتم جوان مؤدب باشI stepped forward and said, "Young man, mind your manners!

اینجوری آدم با عباسIs that how one speaks to Abbas?"

گفت شیخ چی داری میگیHe said, "Shaykh, what are you talking about?

نفس این زن تو سینه‌اش بند شدThe breath has stopped in this woman's chest!"

این جوون دویید از حرم بیرونThis young man ran out of the shrine.

میگه دم در وایستادHe says: he paused at the doorway,

برگشت گفت عباسTurned around and said, "Abbas,

یا ابوفاضلO Abu Fadl,

یادت باشه شفای مادرمو ندادیRemember that you did not heal my mother!

دارم میرم نجفI am heading to Najaf,

شکایتتو به بابات علی بکنمTo complain about you to your father Ali!"

این شیخ میگه وایستادم ببینم چی میشهThe shaykh says, "I stayed to see what would happen.

رفت ساعتی نکشیده بودHe left, and not even an hour had passed,

یه وقت دیدم این زن از تو تابوتWhen suddenly I saw this woman rise up from inside the coffin,

تمام قامت بلند شد وایستادShe stood fully upright to her feet,

رو به ضریحFacing the sacred zarih,

شکران یا ابوفاضل (3x)Shukran, O Abu Fadl!

میگه طولی نکشید دیدم جوونم برگشتHe says: shortly after, I saw the young man return,

اما گریه می‌کنهYet he is crying,

گریه می‌کنه.he is weeping.

رفتم جلو گفتم چته جوون؟I went up to him and asked, "What is wrong, young man?

عباس که مادرتو شفا داد!Abbas healed your mother!

چرا داری گریه می‌کنی؟Why are you crying?"

گفت شیخ دست بردار!He said, "O Shaykh, leave me be!

داشتم تو بیابون می‌دوئیدم و داد می‌زدمI was running through the desert shouting,

دیگه کسی به عباس باب‌الحوائج نگه!'Let no one call Abbas the fulfiller of needs anymore!

عباس باب‌المراد نیست!Abbas is not the granter of hopes!

یه وقت دیدم یه سواری از روبه‌رو اومد.Suddenly, I saw a horseman approaching from ahead.

به من رسید گفت جوون کجا می‌ری؟He reached me and said, "Young man, where are you going?"

گفتم دارم می‌رم نجف.I said, "I am going to Najaf."

برای چی؟"What for?"

می‌رم شکایت عباسو به باباش علی بکنم."I am going to complain about Abbas to his father, Ali.

مادر منو شفا نداده.He did not heal my mother."

گفت برگرد شکایت عباسو به باباش علی نکن.He said, "Turn back; do not complain about Abbas to his father, Ali.

عباس مادرتو شفا داد برگرد.Abbas has healed your mother; go back."

گفتم دیگه رمق برای برگشت ندارم.I said, "I have no strength left to walk back.

نفسم بند اومده.I am breathless."

گفت پشت مرکب من بشین من می‌برمت.He said, "Mount behind me on my steed, and I will take you."

شیخ پشت مرکبش نشستم.O Shaykh, I mounted behind him on his steed.

خودم رو جلو حرم عباس دیدم.Suddenly, I found myself in front of Abbas's shrine.

تا به خودم اومدم دیدم اسب افسارش آزاده.As soon as I came to my senses, I saw the horse's reins were loose,

خودش داره حرکت می‌کنه.and it was moving on its own.

خوب که نگاه کردم دیدمWhen I looked closely, I saw

این آقا که من پشت مرکب اون نشستمthat this gentleman behind whom I was riding,

دست در بدن نداردhad no arms on his body...
