يا حادي الظعن الى المدينهO caravan leader, to Medina,

سلم على يا ام بها حزينهGreet a mother there, who is sorrowful.

اشفع لنا في حضرتها ام البنينIntercede for us in her presence, Umm al-Banin.

لكَ آياتُ العزاءْTo you are signs of mourning.
